Travis Air Force & Military Base
The Travis Air Force Base, located 3 miles from Fairfield, CA, is perfect for anyone who loves military aircraft. Part of the United States Air Force, the Travis Air Force Base hosts the 60th Air Mobility Wing, which is the largest wing of the Air Mobility Command of the US Air Force.
The fleet includes C-17 Globemaster III, C-5 Galaxies, and KC-10 Extenders. Tours of the base are available to the public but must be arranged at least 8 weeks in advance.
